Micro-Needling
Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT) also referred to as Medical Grade Micro-Needling, is an anti-aging and skin rejuvenation treatment.
HOW MICRONEEDLING WORKS!
Microneedling creates controlled micro-injuries to stimulate the body’s natural wound-healing process, while minimizing cellular damage. The result: effective remodeling of scar tissue, while keeping the overall structure of the skin intact. Procedures take about 30-45 minutes, depending on the area treated and the desired results. We apply topical numbing for about 15 minutes prior to the start of the procedure.
Due to their non-invasive nature, microneedling sessions usually require little downtime for patients. SkinPen® Precision System is the first and only microneedling device to receive this important designation from the FDA, and sets a new standard as the only recognized Class II microneedling device for aesthetic use by healthcare professionals in the US!
The SkinPen® Precision is clinically proven to safely and effectively treat facial acne scars for ages 22 and up and wrinkles of the neck. With as few as (3) non-invasive and affordable treatments spaced 30 days apart, you can improve your appearance for six months after your last treatment.
Microneedling stimulates the body’s own collagen and elastin production to tighten, lift and rejuvenate the skin. The benefits of this treatment include:
- Reduction of fine lines and wrinkles
- Improvement in the appearance of stretch marks (striae) and crepey skin
- Reduction in scarring – surgical or acne scars
- Restoration of Complexion – evens out skin tone
- Reduction in production of melanin levels – excess melanin production results in hyperpigmentation (dark complexion and spots)
What is an IPL/BBL Procedure?
IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) or BBL (BroadBand Light), often called “Photorejuvenation or Photofacial”, is a versatile FDA-cleared, non-invasive, procedure that can improve a range of skin conditions such as brown spots from sun damage, acne scarring, broken blood vessels and rosacea.
IPL uses brief pulses of highly concentrated light to target and correct superficial pigment, redness, and broken blood vessels, while also reaching the collagen-stimulating deeper layers of the skin. The result is a smoother, more youthful appearance that is visible after just one treatment with little to no downtime and can be performed on the face, hands, neck, chest, and legs. IPL Treatments start at $200. IPL Treatment packages are available.
What Skin Conditions Can IPL Treat?
How Much Does an IPL Procedure Cost?
- IPL Revitalization procedures start at $400
- Additional savings are available with purchase of IPL package(s).
Not everyone is suitable for an IPL procedure. Some darker skin types are not suitable as they have too much melanin or if you’re taking medication that makes you sensitive to light, such as Accutane.
